When a recipe calls itself the ultimate pumpkin bread recipe, it is hard not to try it. And given this past weekend’s cooler, dreary weather, it was the perfect time to do so. The recipe itself is very good, and that’s even considering that I was missing some ingredients (cinnamon, baking soda). I added ground ginger in place of the cinnamon, but figure with the original, it would be even better.
The recipe makes two loaves, and I made one straight, and added chocolate chips to the second. Oh man, take my advice and add semisweet chocolate chips to this!! This is essentially fall in a recipe, and the smell in your kitchen alone is worth it.
