GPOYW: Childhood Toys Edition
For Christmas, Marmee got a new stuffed animal and the impact was immediate! She enjoyed her new “friend” almost as much as I would expect a young child to. It also brought up memories and discussions about all our own childhood stuffed animals. Marmee could even remember her own childhood doll. Since I home, I was able to run up and grab my teddy “Willy,” who time has been better to than my Dad’s poor, old ragged “Dumbo.” His family knew what shape Dumbo was in, so a few years ago, his cousin even sent him a replacement! Guess you’re never too old for some things.
