First Bar Class: A Review
I finally understand why people spend ridiculous amounts of money to exercise at a place at Equinox. It makes such a difference to enter a clean, lovely, personable environment to sweat your butt off. As for the class itself, my instructor was constantly correcting my positions, but that’s what I expected - and what I wanted. And it was done in a constructive, supportive way, not boot camp-ish at all. I loved the exercises and am excited to see if there’s a difference in my body over the next few weeks.
As for today, yes, I hurt. But not as much as I thought I would.
Basically, all of your warnings and information ahead of time were spot on. I’m excited to go back later this week.
I just bought a month of unlimited Bar Method classes, without ever even trying one.
Maybe the cost will actually get me to go? Let’s hope I like it. First one is tonight.
